Changes to the Conditions of Use Professional Sales as of June 1

As of June 1, 2022, several conditions of the Conditions of Use Professional Sales will be adjusted, and we want to inform you about this. In this message, you can read which conditions are affected and what changes.
These are the changes to the Conditions of Use Professional Sales, which have been drawn up to ensure the quality of the platform:
- Definitions (article 1)
In article 1, the definition of Professional Partner (point 6) is expanded with the following italicized information:
Professional Partner(s): any legal entity that has been registered for at least 10 weeks with the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands or with the trade register in Belgium and has a VAT number, a postal address and bank account in the Netherlands and/or Belgium, has created a seller account, has accepted these Conditions of Use, has been accepted as a partner by bol, and whose (indirect) director(s), shareholder(s) and/or ultimate beneficial owner(s) have not previously been involved in another seller account that was closed based on article 15 of the Conditions of Use.
- Seller Account (article 2)
The following is added to article 2.3:
To act as a Professional Partner, the Professional Partner must confirm that the (indirect) director(s), shareholder(s) or the ultimate beneficial owner(s) of the seller account have not been involved in another seller account that was closed based on article 15.
- Limitations, suspension and termination of Professional Partnership (article 15)
Article 15 adds that a seller account can be blocked, suspended or terminated at any time, with reasons given, if a director of the seller account has been involved in another seller account that was closed due to a violation of these Conditions of Use.
- Offer (article 3)
In article 3, a new paragraph 5 is added, and the existing paragraph 5 becomes paragraph 6:
bol is entitled to remove a specific item from a Professional Partner from the Platform if this item is considered below standard, as indicated on the Professional Partner's seller account. Here you can find out when bol considers an item to be performing below standard.
