Why do we offer a reduced commission?
Having reduced commission makes it more interesting to price items more competitively. We help you to maintain the same margin (or making more profit) despite a more competitive retail price and offer our customers the most attractive offer.
Within many of the product categories, we look for items that are not (yet) competitively priced, but are of interest to customers. Within those categories, you can benefit from a reduced commission when your selling price is equal or lower than the indicated price point. As soon as your price is equal or lower, the reduced commission is automatically set.
Do you have items that qualify for a reduced commission? Then you will be notified of this in the ‘to-do’s’ within your seller dashboard. When you click on this notification, you can also download an Excel list with all items to which the reduced commission applies.
This is how you use reduced commission:
In your seller dashboard:
To activate the reduced commission, follow the steps below:
1. Filter your offer
At the top left of your offer, click on ‘Filter’ and there, in the ‘Verlaagde commissie‘ category, choose the 2 ‘Actief’ filters. Wondering which items are now eligible for reduced commission? Then check out the active items directly here.
2. Lower your prices
If you set your price at this price point or lower, your commission will automatically be reduced. It also shows how long the reduction applies. After this period, or as long as your price is higher than the price point, the regular commission will be charged.
Via an API connection
In this documentation you can read how your current API can be adapted to use reduced commission. Do you already have a link via intermediary? Then take a look at the manuals of the various intermediaries below to make use of the reduced commissions:
