Conversion analysis in your seller account

The ‘Conversion Analysis’ page gives you an insight into your orders, customer visits and conversion.

What is conversion analysis?

Go to ‘Artikelen’ (Items’) and then select ‘Mijn artikelen (My items). Click on the relevant item and go to ‘Conversie analyse’ (‘Conversion analysis’) in the bar at the top. The graphic on the conversion page displays your sales over time. You can decide which period you wish to view and whether you want to see it per day, week or month. This setting will be saved and will also appear on the ‘Verkoopinzicht’ (‘Sales analysis’) page.

Overzicht (Overview)

This page is made up of various graphics, each of which provides an insight into your conversion and the related data points.

  • Mijn klantbezoeken (My customer visits)
The number of customer visits to the product page when your offer had the buy box. Please note: this only shows customer visits for the times when you had the buy box and not the customer visits when other sellers had the buy box.
  • Mijn bestellingen (My orders)
These are the orders of customers who have bought your item. Please note: this figure may not be the same as ‘Mijn verkopen’ (‘My sales’). As part of a single order, one customer may have bought several units of an item and the number of cancellations has been removed from ‘My sales’ but not from ‘My orders’. This is because a customer has proceeded to make a purchase and this is therefore included in the conversion percentage calculation.
  • Mijn conversie (My conversion)
The conversion figure shown is the percentage of customers that view your item and then proceed to make an order*. Please note: this percentage only covers the periods when you have the buy box. If you sell an item when you do not have the buy box, you will have an order and no customer visits, in other words 100% conversion. The formula for ‘My conversion’ works as follows: ‘My conversion’ = My orders / My customer visits*
    * Customer cancellations are included in this figure. Example
In the last month, you had the buy box throughout the entire period. 100 unique customers viewed your item in this time. Seven of these 100 unique customers bought your item. This means that you had a conversion of 7% (7/100). My conversion = 7% (7 orders / 100 customer visits x 100%)
  • Mijn koopblok (My buy box)
The percentage that your offer had the buy box over this period. Whether you have the buy box depends on the price, delivery time and performance score. In addition, your offer must be shown on the webshop and must meet the following minimum conditions:
    1. You have the item in stock.
    2. The minimum product information has been entered.
    3. Your sales price is below the maximum sale priced based on market information. You can find more information on this page.

Please note: the assessment grade is one of the service standards for the performance score.
