Climate Hub

bol wants to promote more sustainable consumption. It is our ambition to reduce the impact of our activities on the planet as much as possible. We do this, among other things, by packaging and delivering our items as efficiently as possible. And all the electricity we use comes from Dutch solar panels and wind turbines. But we're not there yet.

The retail sector is responsible for a significant percentage of global greenhouse gas emissions, such as CO2. We must join forces to reduce these emissions. While this may initially seem like a lot of work, it also offers us an opportunity to collaborate on reversing the effects of climate change. As part of the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), we, along with our parent company Ahold Delhaize, aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout our entire supply chain. We look forward to working with all our partners on this.

We understand that measuring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a new and evolving topic. With our Climate Hub, we want to support you with information and tools to start your reduction journey or to help you accelerate your current reduction efforts. This Climate Hub will continuously feature new content and updates about our emissions reduction program.

Welcome to the Climate Hub

How to get started?

The Climate Hub guides you through your first steps towards reducing greenhouse gases. These steps can be divided into two parts: (1) Calculating your CO2 footprint and (2) Setting reduction targets
