Logistics services rate change
With our logistics services, we help you to be more successful selling via bol. We collaborate with multiple carriers. Due to various market developments, such as inflation and increased labor costs, the costs of their services are rising. We strive to limit higher costs for you as much as possible. As of January 1, 2024, the rates for our logistics services will partially increase, but we can also keep some rates the same or even lower them. Logistics via bol
With Logistics via bol (Lvb), we manage your entire logistics process. Every year, we review the rates for this service. Last year, we were able to keep the Lvb rates the same. However, due to significant cost increases in the transport sector and statutory wage increases, we will be implementing partial changes as of January 1, 2024.
We are doing everything we can to keep the rate increase as low as possible and only implement changes when absolutely necessary. Therefore, stock rates will remain unchanged for the upcoming year.
Below you will find the current and new Lvb rates effective January 1, 2024 (excluding VAT):
New Lvb rates
*XXXS and XXS items cannot be sent as letterbox parcels to Belgium. We always send them as XS size at the applicable rate.
Good news, though! Partners have frequently indicated that it's challenging to successfully sell via Lvb with low-priced items.
To make this easier for you, as of January 1, 2024, we are introducing competitive Lvb rates for product ranges with a low selling price. This means that for items with a selling price under €16 (including VAT), you will benefit from fixed lower shipping rates.
Are you already selling low-priced items via Lvb? Then, as of January 1, 2024, you will immediately have a larger margin on the selling price. This is a great opportunity to set competitive prices, making your offer more attractive to (potential) customers and allowing you to grow faster. You don't need to do anything to qualify for the lower rates; they will be automatically applied to your invoice.

Lvb rates for items with a selling price under €16

For a number of additional services or specific product categories, we apply supplementary rates. An increase will also apply to these rates as of January 1, 2024. These rates are exclusive of VAT.
New Lvb additional services rates
*Fragile items, items with an expiry date, and all items falling under the main categories of watches, sunglasses, bags/leather goods, baby & toddler clothing, or clothing & footwear. Please note: the 'hazardous materials' product category will also be added from January 1, 2024, to the product categories for which we charge a surcharge. We do this because these items require an additional safety process and specific storage (bunker).
If you use the delivery service of Logistics via bol, the following rates will apply. These are exclusive of VAT.
New Lvb delivery service rates
Shipping via bol
With Shipping via bol (Vvb), we handle the shipping of your parcels, allowing you to send them from the Netherlands worry-free and at attractive rates. You can either bring your parcels to a drop-off point or have us pick them up.
As of January 1, 2024, Vvb rates will change as follows:
- Shipping: We are increasing shipping rates to a limited extent.
- Pickup: To simplify the rate structure for parcel pickups, we are harmonizing these rates across all services. Depending on the service you use and the number of parcels, rates may be higher, the same, or lower.
- Drop-off: We are increasing the rates for dropping off parcels at a drop-off point with Vvb Standard, but lowering these rates for Vvb+.
- Surcharges: We are increasing the surcharges.

*Maximum dimensions: (1 x length) + (2 x width) + (2 x height) = max. 300 cm, with a max. length of 150 cm. Maximum weight: 30 kg.
**Maximum dimensions: 95 x 70 x 58 cm. Maximum weight: 23 kg.
