Creating a seller account with bol

How does the registration process work?
Do you want to offer your items to millions of customers? You can create a seller account in just a few steps. Check your details and prepare for your first sale via bol. That is how you start growing right away.
Starting on bol
To guarantee a safe and reliable platform, clear agreements apply to all partners. We check accounts based on legislation such as the Digital Services Act and the Sanctions Act. Preparation
Make sure you have the following details at hand before creating your seller account.
- A valid business registration number (KvK/KBO)
- A valid VAT number
- A valid proof of identity (passport or identity card)
- An active bank account based in a SEPA country
Create bol account (5 minutes)
Use your existing account or create a new one with your business email address. This will give you access to your seller account from now on. Set up two-step verification immediately to secure your account extra well; this is mandatory when creating your bol account.
Register your company (15 minutes)
For this registration, we work together with our external service provider Duna. Duna checks your details and handles your data with care.
Assessment of your registration (3 to 5 business days)
As soon as your details are filled in, we check whether you meet the conditions. We perform various checks to verify your seller account. This way, we ensure a reliable platform for all partners. You will hear quickly if you can start selling via bol.
Please note
You can only log in to your seller account after you have received the confirmation email. If you try to log in earlier, you will get an error message.
Set up your seller account (30 minutes)
To start selling, it is important to set up your account as completely as possible. The following information is required to complete the registration:
- Complete our e-learning
- Get to know bol, the product range policy, and our service standards.
- Know where to go for information and new developments.

- Decide where you want to sell: in the Netherlands, Belgium, or both countries?
- Choose your shop name, add your logo and a short description. - Contact details
- Add a valid phone number and email address where you can be reached.
- These details will be used for communication with both bol and your customers. - Return policy
- Determine your return process: how can customers return their items? We recommend using the the bol return label.
- Provide the return address where customers can send their returns.
Final check by bol (1 business day)
After your shop settings are submitted, we perform a final check based on the information provided by you. If everything is in order, you will receive an email confirming that your seller account has been approved.
