Sustainability energy efficient

Criteria

Items within this category save energy and lead to lower CO2 emissions. An item must carry at least one of the following quality marks or characteristics to be eligible for a label:

*The government has made an energy label mandatory for 16 categories of household items. The appliance is classified into a class based on energy consumption. Depending on the product group, the labels range from F (lowest) to A (highest) or even A+++. The higher the class, the more energy-efficient the item is.

We automatically add the most energy-efficient items to product groups where the largest negative impact lies in energy consumption during the product lifecycle. If your content is correctly added, it will be included automatically. Therefore, you don't need to fill out a form.

Labels for multiple themes

Do you want to request labels for multiple themes? You can do this all in one form. You don't need to fill out a separate form for each theme.

Requesting the Good Choice label

Do you sell a product range with sustainability benefits? Then you can request one or more labels by following these steps:

  1. Check if your product range meets the criteria for the desired label.
  2. Download the sustainability characteristics file using the button and indicate for each EAN which quality mark your item carries. Does the quality mark apply to the entire brand? Then fill in the 'brandlevel' tab with the brand name and the quality mark.
  3. Upload proof of your sustainability quality marks so we can ensure your product range is eligible.
  4. Fill in the form and click 'submit'. The form can be found on every theme page. See the menu on the left for this.
  5. You will receive a response from Partnerservice within 2 working days.
