Measurement of 'Handed over on time' for Shipping via bol pick-up service

Deadline op 28 september 2026
A lady is handed three parcels by a gentleman.

As of 28 September, we are implementing a change for partners who use the Shipping via bol pick-up service with Ampère. From that date, we will measure the service standard 'Handed over on time' to further strengthen delivery reliability for customers.

What is changing?

For parcels that Ampère picks up from you, we check whether they were handed over on time. We measure this based on Ampère's first sorting scan. By handing over your items on time, you ensure a predictable delivery time and a great customer experience.

How do we determine the score?

Ampère's sorting scan shows whether a parcel was handed over on time for shipment. When a parcel is handed over on time, this contributes to a good score for the service standard 'Items on time'. A deviation can affect your service standards and lead to a strike. Have you received a strike? Then there are several ways to resolve it or prevent future strikes.

Influence of external factors

We understand that there are situations beyond your control. That is why we evaluate carrier-related delays outside of your control separately. In these cases, your score will not be negatively affected. For example: if a carrier cannot collect a parcel on time, the shipment won't be marked as 'handed over late'. This is how we ensure a fair measurement of your performance.

Please note!

This change only applies to partners who use the Shipping via bol pick-up service from Ampère.
