On this page, read all about including shipping costs in the selling price.

Including shipping costs in the selling price

Your selling price, visible on bol, includes shipping costs. Do you want to charge shipping costs to the customer? Then you must include these in your selling price yourself. It is therefore not possible to show your shipping costs separately from the item price on the product page or at checkout.

Example calculation: you want to offer a kettle for 30 euros. Your shipping label costs 4.50 euros. You can offer this item (provided your price complies with the price policy) for 34.50 euros.

Shipping costs are part of the relevant market price. When you add the selling price and shipping costs together, you get the relevant market price. We also look at shipping costs from competitors. What these shipping costs are depends on the price of the item.

  1. Items under €25: we calculate with a minimum of €2.99 and a maximum of €7 shipping costs.
  2. Items between €25 and €100: we calculate with the maximum shipping costs of €7.
  3. Items above €100: shipping costs are fully included.

Please note!

It is not allowed to charge the customer for shipping costs afterwards.
