We store your items in our bol Fulfilment Centers (BFCs), depending on the product range. Depending on the type of product range, we can store it as regular, XL+, or PGS15.
Logistics via bol and the Belgian excise law
From 9 December 2025, you will no longer be able to sell items that fall under the Belgian excise law to customers in Belgium via Logistics via bol. These products require excise duties and specific item information, which cannot be handled within our logistics operation. Therefore, they will be taken offline for Belgium from that date.
The items can still be sold in the Netherlands. It remains possible to sell these items via Shipping via bol or your own shipping method. As a partner, you are always responsible for complying with Belgian legislation and for paying the applicable excise duties when selling these items.
Regular (size group 3XS to L)
- All new (not second-hand) items, smaller than 72 x 50 x 41 cm and lighter than 15 kg. The total packaging volume is less than 70 litres.
- Perishable items (with at least 100 days shelf life after the sales date).
XL+ (size group XL, XXL and 3XL)
- All new items, larger than L, can be managed via Shipping via bol with additional XL rights. An additional stock ceiling also applies here.

Hazardous substances (PGS15)
- All items falling into ADR hazard class 2.1, 2.2, 3 and 4.1 are permitted for Shipping via bol and can be managed via Shipping via bol with additional PGS15 rights. An additional stock ceiling also applies here.
- Items containing hazardous substances in ADR hazard class 5, 8 and 9 are not permitted for Shipping via bol.
