Surcharges

The carriers for Shipping via bol charge surcharges that are passed on to you if packages do not meet the dimensions and conditions. These costs will automatically appear on your invoice. You will find them under 'Logistical costs', specified as 'Shipping via bol surcharge'.

Below the table, you will find an explanation of each surcharge per carrier. These surcharges apply to all Shipping via bol services. You can see the extra costs in the tables.

Shipments that must be processed manually (for example, because they do not meet the permitted specifications) negatively affect the reliability of our service. Please check your shipments against the delivery requirements to avoid surcharges.

The holiday season brings higher costs within the logistics network every year. Therefore, a temporary peak surcharge applies from 15 November to 31 December 2026.

This surcharge is €0.30 per parcel for shipments via Shipping via bol. This applies in addition to carrier surcharges. Letter post shipments are excluded from this fee.

Do you want to dispute surcharges you have received? You can do so within 30 days of receiving the invoice. If you wish to dispute them, please fill out the 'Dispute Shipping via bol Surcharge' form. You can find this in the Finances tab in your seller account.
