Create product families for multiple items

Want to add several items to a product family at once? Follow the step-by-step guide below!

1. Group all product variants in your own document

In the example below, 2 different product families are created, both consisting of 10 items. The items are linked based on the value given in column E. If this value is the same, those items will be linked to a new – or existing – product family.

2. From the seller dashboard menu, click ‘Artikelen toevoegen in bulk’

3. Upload your Excel file in the appropriate field

4. Link your columns with ours in step 2

5. In the step below, you can link your own column as 'Productvariant ID'

6. Ensure that all items belonging to a product family have the same value in the 'Productvariant ID' column. After saving, product families will automatically be created from the items.

7. Check your own data and then click save changes

Selected items are then checked against the 4 conditions for a product family. If these conditions are met, we can create the product families. Note that unlike the ‘single flow’ for families, the user does not get feedback whether families have (or have not) been successfully created. If a family cannot be created it has to do with the 4 conditions that a family must meet.
