Infringement of trademark, patent and copyright, among others
What is not allowed, for example:
- Logging onto a product page (or selling) a branded item while you are not authorised to sell that brand.
- Registering on a product page and changing that product page to a completely different item.
- Selling an item that infringes a patent.
- Using text and images for your product information without having the permission of the original author. Not allowed is, for example, copying images from other sellers on the platform.
What is allowed:
- With (written) permission from the original author (e.g., a manufacturer), use existing texts and images for product information.
Bypassing trademark authorisation and/or selling rights
What is not allowed, for example:
- Sell unbranded items in a category where this is not allowed. Check this page for the current assortment policy.
- Bypassing brand authorisation or violating authorisation terms.
Good to know: If you have multiple seller accounts, we have the authority to deduct the relevant number of points from all of your accounts associated with the same Chamber of Commerce number for a policy violation ‘Violation of Property Rights’.
