  • Package the order in a shipping box with a reference to your own (web) store or social media page printed on it. The shipping box must be unbranded or show only the company name with which you are active on bol.com. You can also use shipping boxes purchased directly from bol.com with the bol.com logo on them.
  • Place a reference to your own (web) store in the product description and/or images.
  • Send discount coupons, newsletters or marketing campaigns that reference your own (web) store or social media page.
  • A request to the customer for an affiliate/seller review.
  • Sending a review request for an item (e.g. via e-mail or social media) insinuating a 5-star rating. For example by showing 5 stars or linking a (win) action to the review request.
  • Sending an additional e-mail to the customer with a review request for the item.
  • Send an extra e-mail about the item with a manual. You can add a manual digitally as an attribute to your item.

  • Include an e-mail address on your seller page or in your shop name.

What is allowed:

  • Add a flyer with your assortment with the order, if the flyer contains a reference to bol.com and not a reference to your own (web) store or social media page.
  • Provide an invoice by uploading it via the ‘invoice requests’ tab in the seller account or the Retailer API.
  • A request for an honest item review on bol.com (literally mention honest review in the e-mail), provided this request does not result in an additional e-mail to the customer.

  • Include terms such as ‘gratis’ or ‘gratis verzending’ in the title, product description or images.

Post your own reviews to your own products

  • Ask someone you know to leave one or more reviews on your items, if they have not purchased or used the item.
  • Give a customer a sample text for a review.

What is allowed:
