By participating in bol campaigns, you may be eligible for a commission discount. Bol campaigns include, for example, the bol 7-Day Deals or Sale Solden. The allocation of commission discounts within promotions is determined by a data model.
How does that work exactly?
The data model ranks product ranges based on which items will be most successful in promotions. This is based on current customer needs. We use customer needs to calculate which items will generate the most additional sales during promotions. So, items that qualify for a commission discount are items that we expect to sell significantly better during the promotion. This does not mean that product ranges for which we do not offer a discount are not interesting to participate, but we try to make participating in promotions more attractive for you as a partner.
Where can I find out how much commission discount I can get?
Because we calculate an estimate, we provide an indication of the commission discount in your seller account one week before the start of the promotion. You will only see the possible commission discount allocation and the corresponding discount percentage.
