Please pay close attention if you sell children's tableware or camping tableware. Tableware made from bamboo or corn fibers can be harmful when used in combination with melamine plastic. The Dutch and Belgian supervisory authorities, the NVWA and the FAVV, advise partners to immediately stop selling these items. Since 2019, tableware consisting of both products has been prohibited and completely removed from the market. This is why you can only sell items via bol that consist entirely of bamboo or melamine. bol entscheidet sich dafür, den Konsum von Tabak oder weichen und harten Drogen nicht zu fördern, weshalb der verkauf der folgenden artikel über bol nicht gestattet ist:

• Tabak und andere Rauchwaren, die unter das Tabak- und Rauchwarengesetz fallen. Darüber hinaus geht bol über das Gesetz hinaus, und es ist auch nicht gestattet, Zigarettenhersteller oder Zubehör mit Aroma zu verkaufen, wie Aromakarten, Aromafilter, Aromablättchen und Aromaliquids.
• artikel, die unter das Opiumgesetz fallen.
• E-Zigaretten, Vaporizer und alle anderen artikel, die zum Konsum von Nikotin (oder einer nikotinfreien Substanz) verwendet werden können und über ein Mundstück Dampf erzeugen. Auch Teile und Zubehör für diese artikel, einschließlich Nachfüllpackungen, Kartuschen, Tanks und Kits, dürfen nicht über bol verkauft werden.
• Pfeifen, Wasserpfeifen, Cannabis-Pfeifen und Bongs. Auch Teile und Zubehör für diese artikel dürfen nicht über bol verkauft werden.
• artikel, die mit der Herstellung und dem Konsum von weichen und harten Drogen in Verbindung gebracht werden können. Dazu gehören unter anderem (elektrische) Grinder, Jointhülsen & -roller, Rolling Trays & Boxen und Cannabissamen.
• Sahnekapseln.
  

• Aschenbecher
• Feuerzeuge
• CBD-artikel, solange diese den geltenden Gesetzen und Vorschriften in den Niederlanden und Belgien entsprechen
  

• Elektrische Kräutermühlen
• Zigaretten- & Zigarrenschachteln
  

When necessary, bol anticipates legislation. We do this especially when it's clear that items in production or use are harmful to customer health and/or safety. Within the European Union, there is a ban on the sale of disposable plastic items, also known as single-use plastic. On the European Commission website, you can find an overview of the items that are prohibited from being placed on the market. This ban is gradually expanding, so the list below may not be complete. Therefore, consult the European Commission website or the Dutch/Belgian government for current regulations.

Mandatory SUP contribution

Since 2023, a waste contribution (SUP contribution) also applies to so-called point-of-sale packaging. This refers to the sale of empty food containers or cups. The party that places these items on the market is obliged to pay the SUP contribution for them. It is therefore possible that you also have to pay this SUP contribution. Illegal items

The following disposable plastic items are not legally permitted and therefore may not be sold via bol:

• Plates, cutlery, stirrers
• Straws
• Cotton buds
• Balloon sticks
• Drink and food packaging made of so-called expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS)
• Items made of oxo-degradable plastic (e.g., bags and bottles)

Disposable items containing plastic

Disposable items made of plastic or containing plastic have the logo below. This includes items such as: wet wipes, tampons, sanitary pads, tobacco items, and drinking cups (for example, a paper cup/plate with a plastic layer).

Spatplastic

Additionally, as a platform, we want to take our responsibility and help combat plastic litter. That's why, on October 9, 2021, we signed the Spatplastic Covenant. Spatplastic refers to single-use plastic that spreads quickly. For example, when it's thrown or literally 'splashes' apart. This means that disposable water balloons and plastic confetti are prohibited on the platform. This policy also includes:

• Gift packages containing water balloons, plastic confetti, or balloon straws
• (Table) confetti, streamers
• Balloons with plastic confetti inside

Gebrauchtartikel oder Margenwaren können nur in den Kategorien Bücher, Musik, Games und Filme angeboten werden. Für die übrigen Kategorien können Sie keine Verkaufsrechte beantragen. Es ist also nicht möglich, andere Gebrauchtartikel als Bücher, Musik, Games und Filme über bol anzubieten.

Precursors are substances that can be found in everyday household items and can be used for making explosives. That's why European legislation restricts (the use of) these substances. To protect the safety of our customers, we only offer gas stoves and hobs on our platform that are specifically made for use in the Netherlands or Belgium. This is important because gas stoves and hobs designed for a specific country can cause dangerous situations when used in a country for which they are not intended. Therefore, we limit our offer to models that meet the specific requirements of these two countries.
