Volume discount encourages customers to buy larger quantities per order. This not only leads to higher sales, but also helps you save on costs like shipping per item. See an example below; with the following volume discount, the customer receives:
- 46% discount when purchasing 6 items
- 30% discount when purchasing 3 items
- 21% discount when purchasing 2 items
These combinations are called bundles.
