Growth Reward

Growth Reward is bol's reward program that rewards partners who perform reliably and actively invest in growth and customer experience on the platform. If you achieve your personal sales targets within this program, you can receive a discount on the variable commission you pay to bol. With Growth Reward, we reward participants for their sales growth. On this page, you can read how Growth Reward works and how you can participate.

How does Growth Reward work?

Growth Reward is a reward program in which we reward partners for their revenue growth. In the program, you receive 3 personal revenue targets each quarter. Each time you reach a target, you unlock a higher discount on your variable commission. This means: the more your revenue grows, the more margin you keep.

How can I join?

A new Growth Reward period starts every quarter. About 3 weeks before the start, we assess which partners participate. We do this based on eligibility criteria. If you meet the criteria, you join the program automatically. If you miss one or more points, you cannot participate in that period. We reassess your score on the eligibility criteria every period.

Please note: participation applies per seller account. You cannot transfer benefits to another sales account.

Eligibility criteria

Growth Reward is for partners who actively contribute to a good customer experience at bol. That is why we work with eligibility criteria. From 1 July 2026, you can take part if:

  • Your quality score is at least 69
  • Your delivery promise score is at least 60
  • Your sales account has existed for at least 2 years*
    • You made at least 1 sale per year over the last 2 years

*We use this to calculate your personal revenue targets, based on your revenue from the past 2 years.

For the first year, we use broader criteria to make it easier for partners to join. This allows more partners to discover Growth Reward and gives you time to further improve your performance. From 1 July 2027, the criteria will become stricter. You will be informed about this in time.

Your personal revenue targets

We calculate your personal revenue targets using a model that combines your historic performance with growth potential in the market(s) you are active in. We look at:

  • Your revenue in the same period last year
  • Your most recent performance
  • The markets and categories you are active in
  • The size of your business

 

In your seller account, you can see if you are participating in Growth Reward, what your revenue targets are, your current progress, and what discount you have already unlocked and received. This way, you know exactly how much growth you still need to reach your next discount.

How do I receive the commission discount?

As soon as you reach a revenue target, you unlock a discount on the variable commission you pay to bol. This works as follows:

  • From the day after you reach a revenue target, we automatically apply the discount to all new orders.
  • The discount applies until the end of the period, or until you reach the next revenue target and unlock a higher discount.
  • If you reach a higher revenue target, the previous lower discount stops and only the higher discount applies.
  • There is also a maximum revenue level for discounts. After you reach the highest revenue target, we apply the related discount until the end of the period or until you reach the maximum discounted revenue level, whichever comes first.

Good to know: if you do not reach a revenue target during a period, you will not receive a discount for that period.
