Step-by-step plan for processing orders
Order received
Have you received an order for items where you have set the Shipping via bol delivery promise? Go to your orders overview in the seller account and then to the 'Shipping via bol' tab.
Orders in the 'Shipping via bol' tab are sorted by the date on which you must hand them over to the carrier. The orders you need to process first are at the top. It is important to adhere to the indicated date and not to drop off your orders earlier or later.
Please note: don't forget to confirm orders on time. If you have not confirmed the order by the 3rd day after the latest delivery date, the order will expire and be automatically cancelled. After cancelling the order, it will no longer be visible in your account and you will no longer be able to receive payment for it, even if you have delivered the order.
Select a shipping label
A shipping label is suggested. If you wish, you can adjust this shipping label and, for example, choose a parcel label instead of a mailbox label. You do this by hovering your mouse over the relevant order, so that a pencil appears, with which you can change the shipping label.
Please note!
For deliveries on Mondays, you can only choose a shipping label. This is because no mailbox deliveries are made on Mondays.
Click 'Download shipping label' to download the shipping label, then click 'Process'. This can also be done in bulk for 25 orders at a time. You have now completed all the steps in the seller account.
Currently, it is not yet possible to link multiple labels to one or different orders. We are working on this.
Please note!
Each shipping label has its own terms and conditions and maximum packaging dimensions. In addition, drop off and delivery times also vary per label. If you change the shipping label, you will see a different 'Drop off by' time that you must adhere to, so that the order is delivered to the customer on time.
Drop off or have package(s) picked up
With Shipping via bol, we take responsibility for the delivery of your orders. You are only responsible for handing over the orders to the delivery service on time. You can choose to drop off your packages yourself or use the collection service. If you choose to hand over your package orders to your own pickup service or deliver them directly to a depot, this is at your own risk. Before dropping off your packages, always check the latest drop off time of the drop off point.
Drop-off date
If you use Shipping via bol, your customers have the option to choose a future delivery date (up to 4 weeks in advance). The customer consciously chooses this date. Therefore, it is important to hand over the package to the carrier on the indicated date in the seller account. This ensures the order is delivered on the correct date.

That's it, your work is done! It is now up to the carrier to deliver your packages to the customer on time. You are not responsible for this and will therefore no longer be held accountable for it.
