With bol.checkout, you can add bol's trusted payment method to your own webshop. On this page, you can read how it works, for whom the service is available, and find answers to frequently asked questions.
What is bol.checkout?
Bol.checkout is a payment method that allows customers in your webshop to pay via their bol account. They will recognise the checkout within your own webshop environment. This automatically fills in address and payment details, helping you prevent any errors in orders.
Getting started with bol.checkout
Bol.checkout is now available for existing Dutch partners of bol with a WooCommerce or Magento webshop. We are working on expanding to Belgian partners, webshops on Shopify or other platforms, and entrepreneurs who do not yet sell via bol.
How does it work?
- You integrate the bol.checkout plugin into your WooCommerce or Magento webshop.
- Customers choose "bol.checkout" at checkout.
- They log in with their bol account.
- Address and payment details are automatically filled in.
- The payment is processed via one of the available payment methods.

Payments and payouts
Your payout term depends on the customer's payment method, and therefore works slightly differently than bol's 'normal' payout term. With bol.checkout, customers can pay via iDEAL, Bancontact, or Pay Later via bol. See the frequently asked questions for more information.
