Selling Rights Dietary Supplements Netherlands

Do you want to offer dietary supplements for the Dutch market via bol? As a partner, you must be demonstrably registered as a food business.

Which registration is needed depends on where your organisation is located and whether you have a branch or warehouse in the Netherlands.

Why is registration mandatory?

The registration requirement applies to all food businesses and is stated in Article 6 of Regulation (EC) 852/2004. The registration helps food authorities monitor food safety and trace unsafe items more quickly.

Which registration do you need?

Organisation with a Dutch branch or warehouse

Does your organisation have a branch or warehouse in the Netherlands that is registered with the Chamber of Commerce? Then register this Dutch branch as a food business with the NVWA.

Organisation without a Dutch branch or warehouse

Is your organisation based abroad and don't you have a branch or warehouse in the Netherlands registered with the Chamber of Commerce? Then registration with the NVWA is not possible. In that case, we ask for proof that your organisation is registered as a food business with the national food authority of the country where your organisation is located.

You apply for selling rights by following these steps:

Send the information below (completed) as an application for selling rights to healthassortment@bol.com; (Are you applying for these rights for multiple accounts? Then repeat steps A through G for the other accounts.)

A. Seller account name

B. Retailer ID

C. Date of application

D. Sales email address

E. Selling rights for: Dietary Supplements Netherlands

F. 'Yes, I agree to the additional conditions of the 'Conditions of Use Professional Sales via bol' for selling rights

G. Proof of registration as a food business with the NVWA; or proof of registration as a food business with the national food authority of the country where your organisation is located.

To keep the processing time of your application as short as possible, we use different deadlines for completing a selling rights application. Which deadline applies to you depends on the product category or categories in which you sell.
