Carrier change Shipping labels and Return service

With shipping label via bol and the bol return service, you can easily purchase shipping and return labels for sending parcels to or within Belgium. You work together with our reliable shipping partners and benefit from our economies of scale. From August 1st, 2023, we will collaborate with PostNL and Bpost for these services. You will then no longer be able to send or receive parcels with DPD. In this message, you can read more about this change.
What changes in practice
Currently, parcels with shipping label via bol and the bol return service are transported by DPD and Bpost. From August 1st, PostNL will take over DPD's volume in the Netherlands. Bpost will do this for the volume in Belgium. Thanks to this change, you can count on even more flexibility and higher reliability.
The process will be as follows from August 1st:
For shipping label via bol
- PostNL transports parcels from the Netherlands to Belgium
- Bpost transports parcels within Belgium and from Belgium to the Netherlands
- You drop off parcels at a PostNL or Bpost drop-off point
For the bol return service
- Returns from Dutch customers will be delivered to you by PostNL
- Returns from Belgian customers will be delivered to you by Bpost
Rates
The current rates for Bpost are higher than those for DPD. From August 1st, you can use Bpost's services at DPD's original rates.
