Change in encrypted email address after customer response

Smileys.

Starting Monday, February 28, within 1 to 2 weeks, you will see a different encrypted email address as soon as a customer responds to communication you initiated via email using the encrypted email address. Have you set up routing rules for customer responses via the encrypted email address? Then read here what this means for you.

When a message arrives in the bol systems, it is determined whether it is a message that can be responded to or not. If a response should be possible, from February 28 onwards, you may receive a customer response via @klantbericht.bol.com instead of @verkopen.bol.com. You can also respond to this customer's message using the encrypted email address @klantbericht.bol.com.

The initial customer contact will still be started with @verkopen.bol.com; nothing changes there.

What does this mean for me as a partner?

Have you set up routing rules for customer responses via the encrypted email address? Then make sure your system recognizes the email address @klantbericht.bol.com.

If you have not set up any routing rules, nothing changes for you.

After starting the conversation with the customer, you have 3 months to complete the contact.

What does this mean for the customer?

The email address the customer sees will change from @verkopen.bol.com to @partnerklantenservice.bol.com.
