Contact details regarding the DSA
You boost customer satisfaction with direct contact. The Digital Services Act (DSA) obliges us to enable everyone to contact you directly as a partner, even if they are not yet a customer.
From February 17, customers (and non-customers) will therefore more easily access your contact details via the item page or via your partner page. From these pages, they can call or email you with a click of a button. This is different from what you're used to. Customers will see your original phone number and encrypted email address when they contact you through these channels, even outside business hours. We will state that you are not available at that time. In the future, we will ensure that the data is available in an encrypted format.
We will also actively verify the accuracy of your information, especially if customers cannot reach you. Therefore, please check your seller account to ensure your name and address details, phone number, email address, bank account number, and a trade register number, such as a Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number, are filled in and correct.
Are your details still missing or no longer up-to-date? If so, we ask you to complete them before January 2025.
