New rules for the fixed book price from June 15
In the Netherlands, many books have a fixed price. You are not allowed to sell these books for more than the set price. From June 15, bol will enforce this for all Dutch books.
What changes for you?
We check whether your offers comply with the Fixed Book Price Act. Your selling price in the Netherlands may not be higher than the fixed book price plus a maximum of €7 shipping costs. Do you want to look up the fixed price of a title? Then visit devasteboekenprijs.nl.
Impact on your offer
If an offer does not comply with the rules, we will take it offline. If you adjust the price to the correct level, your offer will automatically come back online. In a later phase, we will also check for a lower limit. We will, of course, inform you about this in time.
Take action now
Check your current offer of Dutch books. Make sure your prices do not exceed the fixed book price plus €7. This way, your books will remain available to customers via bol after June 15.
