Action before March 17: improve party items with one theme and occasion
Our party items page contains more than 5,000 items, but many of them are currently categorized under the wrong theme and/or occasion. This makes it difficult for customers to find the right items. Therefore, we now offer partners the opportunity to enter only 1 theme and 1 occasion per item. This helps to better match items with customer expectations and ensures a clearer offer.
Action required before March 17
To prevent your content from disappearing, we ask you to fill in 1 theme and 1 occasion per item before March 17, 2025 via your seller account. If you do not do this, we will remove the current content, making your items harder to find.
Why this change?
Currently, we see that customers don't always find what they are looking for. For example: when someone filters by the occasion "King's Day", they now see a wide range of items, such as Christmas sweaters, gold balloons, and black garlands. This is not what a customer expects with this filter, which means the search experience is not optimal and the customer often drops off. Through stricter categorization, we want to ensure that customers find the right items faster.
We understand that this adjustment may not be pleasant for everyone, but because we notice that customers are not finding what they are looking for in the current party shop, we need to take action. With this change, we improve the discoverability of items, improve the customer experience, and hope to achieve higher conversion together with you.
