Can you briefly tell us about Smartwares Group and your collaboration with bol?

"Smartwares Group offers a wide range of consumer items with strong brands such as Princess, Tristar, and Smartwares. Our goal is to provide well-designed and affordable items that make daily life easier. We have been selling via bol as a retailer for years and have also been active as partners via the Partnerplatform since 2019. This hybrid strategy allows us to remain flexible and optimally respond to demand."

Why did you choose a hybrid strategy?

"Our focus is on Retailer 1 (direct sales via bol), but we cleverly use the Partnerplatform to strengthen our offer. This combination ensures that our items are always widely available, while also maintaining control over pricing, stock, and margins. This flexibility helps us grow efficiently and sustainably."

Which bol services support your growth?

"We use Advertising via bol to increase our visibility and combine this with a smart logistical approach. Shipping via bol has helped us deliver efficiently for a long time, but we now combine this service with our own fulfillment center. This allows us to respond quickly, better manage stock, and improve costs. This way, we get the best of both worlds."

Can you share a concrete success story?

"A great example is the launch of our Princess Wave series, consisting of a kettle, toaster, and egg cooker. Through a combination of targeted advertisements using sponsored products, improved content, and a well-thought-out stock strategy, we saw a significant increase in visibility and conversion. This shows how powerful the combination of advertising, strong item pages, and strategic pricing is."

What are the most important lessons you have learned?

"Success via bol is about more than just offering items. Pricing, availability, and strong content are crucial. Therefore, we continuously work with a data-driven approach: we analyze market trends, improve advertisements, and respond flexibly to changes. Our advice for other partners? Keep testing, keep learning, and be willing to adjust your strategy."

“We focus on expanding our hybrid strategy with smart, data-driven choices and innovative items. By gaining better insight into market trends and customer behavior, we can improve our product range and increase our reach.
