Additional requirements for sales rights of Medicines
Together with our partners, we at bol take the safety and health of our customers very seriously, Partners can currently apply for selling rights of AV/UAD medicines. Some medicines are freely available and can also be sold outside pharmacies, such as in supermarkets. These are general sale (AV) medicines. Most medicines fall under ‘pharmacy and drugstore only’ (UAD). These items can only be sold in pharmacies and drugstores where expert advice is available.
Additional conditions
When you apply for selling rights, you already agree to the current conditions for selling AV and UAD. From 7 January 2026, extra conditions apply. These conditions are:
- Partner has held the CBD Waarborgcertificaat Zelfzorg Online for at least six (6) months
- Partner has been active at bol for at least one (1) year and has completed the GrowStart period successfully
- Partner shows that they have a proven good reputation and track record in the AV/UAD market. The required information is shared during the application process, for example turnover data or an existing sales channel on another platform
- Partner can only sell stimulants via bol after holding selling rights of Medicines (AV/UAD) for one (1) year and may only offer selected items listed on the Partnerplatform
- Partner declares that the items are purchased and/or produced at a company based in the EU that complies with European legislation
- Partner attends a meeting with the Health Retail team of bol once every 6 months to discuss progress, questions and possible issues
- Partner ensures they are always reachable for bol and respond within 24 hours, also outside office hours and during weekends
From 7 January 2026, these conditions are part of our policy for offering AV/UAD medicines via bol. Due to this update, new applications can only be processed again from this date.
