Change in customer return process via Albert Heijn in the Netherlands

Customers who want to return their bol parcel via Albert Heijn in the Netherlands can do so from mid-August using Budbee's parcel lockers.

This means that customer returns can be delivered to you by Budbee (instead of PostNL). For you as a partner, nothing changes in the process. Budbee takes into account business opening hours. Therefore, returns via Budbee will be delivered to you as a partner between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Customers automatically receive the correct return instructions as soon as they choose to return via Albert Heijn. The costs for the bol return service (carrier Budbee) are equal to the rate for a PostNL parcel.

Parcel lockers: a collaboration between Albert Heijn, bol and Budbee

As previously communicated, since April, parcel lockers have been placed in Dutch and Belgian Albert Heijn stores. These parcel lockers contribute to fast, efficient, and sustainable parcel delivery.

In the coming years, we aim to jointly implement parcel lockers at 700 larger Albert Heijn stores, where customers can pick up and return their bol parcels – and parcels from other webshops connected to Budbee.
