From June 24: the quality score replaces the performance score in the buy box

At bol, we work with our partners to provide the very best service and highest quality. To keep our platform reliable, we have the quality score.

On Wednesday, June 24, the quality score will take over from the performance score. From that day on, the old score will no longer count. You will also no longer find it in your seller account. The quality score will now count in the buy box.

The new score is more stable and fairer. We now measure your performance over 22 weeks instead of 6, and we measure on 5 service standards instead of 3 (returns and customer questions now also count).
The quality score is more representative, it gives you more control thanks to detailed sub-scores, and you get more insight per shipping method.

In your seller account, you can see exactly how you score per shipping method: Your own shipping method, Shipping via bol, and Logistics via bol. This immediately shows you where you can improve.

A strong quality score opens the door to extras:

• Select-deals: Participate from a score of 70. This way you reach bol's most loyal customers.

• Lower risk of strikes If you have a quality score of 75 or higher? Then you automatically receive a concession on a strike if your delivery promise is disappointing once.

• Growth reward: Earn a discount on your commission if you achieve personal goals.

From July 1, 2026, you will need a quality score of at least 69 and a delivery promise score of 60 for this. Your seller account must also have existed for at least 2 years. Please note: this is a temporary entry threshold for the first year.

• Buy box: The higher your score, the greater your chance of the best position in the buy box.

Do you have a score of 75 or higher? Then, from June 24, you will have a lower risk of strikes. You will not receive a strike if your score for 'Items on time' temporarily falls between 90% and 93%. This way, you won't be immediately penalized for a small, temporary dip – as long as you perform well structurally.

Sometimes something happens that is beyond your control, such as a strike at your carrier or extreme weather. From June 24, we will apply daily corrections in such cases. On the corrections page, you can read exactly when these corrections do and do not apply – and what you can do in such a case.

Check your quality score in your seller account today. Are you already at 70 or higher? Then you immediately benefit from advantages such as Select-deals. Use the time until June 24 to improve your score where necessary. This way, we grow smarter together.
