Sponsored Products API: easier insight into results per country and channel

Three tape measures with extended tapes stand next to each other on a yellow background.

Are you working with the Sponsored Products API or planning to? You can easily split the results of your Sponsored Products campaign by country (Netherlands and Belgium) and by channel (desktop, mobile, app, and tablet). This way, you can see where your ads perform best, without creating extra campaigns.

What does this mean for you as an advertiser?

Previously, you only saw results at the item level. If you wanted to know how an item performed in the Netherlands or Belgium, you had to create separate campaigns for each and run them independently. Now, that's no longer necessary.

You can split the same results within a single campaign, allowing you to:

  • Easily gain insight into the differences between the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Clearly compare performance per channel (desktop, mobile, app, tablet)
  • Analyze more specifically within your existing campaigns, without setting up extra campaigns with separate targeting

This gives you more insight and makes your campaigns more effective and clearer.

How does it work?

You can find this feature in the API's Ad Performance Bulk Report. In this report, you can use two options:

  • splitByCountry → shows results per country
  • splitByChannel → shows results per channel

This way, you can see how each sponsored item performs in the Netherlands and Belgium, and across different channels.
