1

View your stock advice

Start building up your holiday season product range on time. Check in your seller account how much stock you need for Black Friday, Sinterklaas, and Christmas. The stock advice helps you stay available during the busiest weeks of the year.

2

Check your stock limit

Your stock limit moves along with expected demand. Therefore, check carefully how much space is available before sending in extra stock.

3

Clear out old stock

Make room for your holiday season product range before the end of October by recalling slow-moving stock or highlighting it extra. This way you use your available stock space smarter.

Take the peak rate into account

An increased rate for stock storage applies in November and December. Therefore, check whether your product range and stock level are still set up optimally.

4

Plan and pre-announce shipments on time

During the holiday season, it gets busier in our fulfilment centers. Therefore, plan your shipments as early as possible and update your pre-announcement to the final status at least 3 business days in advance.

5

Build up stock from early October

Don't wait until November. Send popular items to Logistics via bol starting early October, and mainly use November and December to replenish stock. View our predictions for the holiday season busy period here:

1

Check whether you are using the right service

Now is the time to see if you can upgrade your Shipping via bol service. Do you see opportunities to offer a sharper delivery promise? Adjust your service in your seller account.

2

Check labels and dimensions

Incorrect labels or parcel dimensions can cause delays. Therefore, check in advance whether you meet the conditions. This ensures you get the right label advice at the corresponding price.

3

Keep an eye on the handover time

Always hand over parcels at the time indicated in your seller account. This keeps the delivery promise reliable and prevents delays. So do not drop off your parcels too early, but not too late either.

4

Check the opening hours

Do you drop off your parcels yourself? Check the opening hours and collection times of your drop-off point during the holiday period in advance. These may differ from what you are used to on and around the holidays.

5

Take the service framework into account

During busy periods, bol may temporarily adjust the delivery promise to keep it reliable. You don't need to do anything for this, but it's good to know that delivery times may change.
