Change in logistics services rates

With Logistics via bol (Lvb), we manage your entire logistics process at attractive rates. As of January 1, 2025, we are increasing several rates.

With the Logistics via bol delivery service, we pick up parcels from our partners and deliver them to bol's fulfillment centers. A few things will change within this service.

As of January, only Ampère will perform this service.

Higher rates will apply for parcel collection as of January 1, 2025. Additionally, from now on, you must provide a minimum of 3 parcels per collection.

As of January 1, the delivery service will be a threshold service: only parcels offered on the ground floor will be collected.

We aim to prevent long-standing stock in our fulfillment centers as much as possible, as it leads to reduced capacity, inefficiencies, and thus higher costs. Therefore, as of March 1, 2025, you will pay a surcharge for stock that has been stored in the fulfillment centers for more than 270 days. This stock will incur a monthly surcharge of 40% on the regular storage rate.

The surcharge does not apply to items falling under the product categories of watches, sunglasses, bags/leather goods, baby & toddler clothing, and clothing & shoes.

Check your stock in your seller account

In your seller account, you can see which stock has been stored for more than 270 days, allowing you to manage it in time. This information is available in your Lvb Stock Analysis Dashboard under the tab “Unhealthy Stock”. Check this regularly to avoid this surcharge.

If no EAN is shown for the item, it may mean that the item is not online. Please follow the steps below, after which the EAN will be visible in the Lvb Stock Analysis Dashboard:

• Copy the item name in the ‘Lvb Stock Analysis’ screen
• Go to ‘My Lvb Stock’, paste the item name, and copy the EAN
• Go to ‘Items’, then to ‘Add item per piece’ and paste the EAN
• Add the item as described on the Partnerplatform

When an item is sold or a return is requested by you, we deduct the item that has been in stock the longest from the total stock in our administration.

How it works during the holidays

Leading up to the holidays, as usual, a 40% increased storage rate applies in November and December for all items (the peak rate). During these months, you will not pay a surcharge for long-standing stock. However, November and December do count towards the calculation of the amount of long-standing stock.

With Shipping via bol, we handle the entire shipping process for your parcels. This way, you can send your items worry-free and at attractive rates from the Netherlands. You can drop off your parcels at a collection point yourself or have us pick them up.

As of January 1, 2025, you will pay more for parcels outside the allowed specifications. We are tightening this policy because these shipments negatively impact the reliability of our services.

Pay close attention to the maximum specifications for (letterbox) parcels. If your parcel is larger/ heavier than these specifications, carriers charge us a surcharge because the shipping process is slower due to inefficiencies. We then pass this surcharge on to you.
