Conversion analysis
On the ‘Conversion Analysis’ page, you gain insight into your orders, customer visits, and conversion.
What is conversion analysis?
Go to ‘Items’ and then choose 'My items’. Click on the relevant item and go to ‘Conversion analysis’ in the bar at the top. The graph on the page shows the conversion of your sales over time. You can choose which period you want to review and whether you want to see this in the graph per day, week, or month.
Overview
The page consists of various graphs, each offering different insights into your conversion and the associated data points.
- My customer visits
The number of customer visits to the item page when your offer had the buy box.
Please note: this only shows customer visits from the moments you had the buy box, not customer visits when other partners had the buy box. - My orders
These are the orders from customers who bought your item.
Please note: this number may not match ‘my sales’. A customer can order multiple units of an item within a single order; also, ‘My sales’ deducts cancellations, while ‘My orders’ does not. This is because a customer proceeded with a purchase, and this is therefore included in the conversion percentage. - My conversion
The displayed conversion is the percentage of customers who view your item and then proceed to place an order*.
Please note: this percentage only applies to periods when you have the buy box. If you sell an item without having the buy box? Then you have one order and no customer visit, resulting in 100% conversion. The formula for ‘My conversion’ is as follows: ‘My conversion’ = My orders / My customer visits*.
* Customer cancellations are included.
Example
Last month, you had the buy box for the entire period. 100 unique customers viewed your item. 7 of those 100 unique customers ordered your item. Therefore, you had a conversion of 7% (7/100). My conversion = 7% (7 orders / 100 customer visits x 100%) - My buy box
The percentage of time your offer had the buy box. Whether you have the buy box depends on the price, delivery time, and performance score. Additionally, your offer must be displayed in the webshop and meet the following minimum requirements:
1. You have stock of the item.
2. The minimum content is complete.
3. Your selling price is below the maximum selling price based on market information. See this page for more information.
Please note: the review score is one of the service standards of the performance score.
