Extra seller account

Do you want to open an extra seller account? Then you will go through the same steps as with your first account. Keep a few important conditions in mind.

Why multiple accounts?

For example, you can choose to split your sales between the Netherlands and Belgium.

  • By selling from 1 seller account, the same price, delivery time, return address, and other (return) conditions apply to both countries. You can also manage the stock of your items simultaneously.
  • By selling from 2 seller accounts, you can individually determine for each item in which country you sell it, and at what price and delivery time. Additionally, it is then possible to enter a different return address.

Conditions for extra seller accounts

Do you want multiple seller accounts? Then each account must meet the following requirements:

  • Each of your seller account(s) has successfully completed the GrowStart period
  • Each of your seller account(s) has 3 strikes or less
  • Each of your seller account(s) has more than 50 policy points
  • Each of your seller account(s) has a rating of 6.0 or higher

What should you pay attention to?

  • VAT number and Chamber of Commerce registration
One unique VAT number is allowed per Chamber of Commerce registration. Are you creating an extra account under the same Chamber of Commerce number? Then use the same VAT number as in your existing seller account.

Do you want to check which VAT number we have on file? Log in to your other seller account and go to Company details.
  • No duplicate offer
Do you have multiple seller accounts? Then make sure you don't compete with yourself.
Your product range or the country of sale must differ per account.
  • Unique login per account
For each seller account, you need a new bol account with a unique email address.
This email address must not yet be in use and will be used to log in.
  • Selling across borders
Are you selling internationally? Then extra conditions apply.
For example, you may not use a PO box or post office box as a return address. You may also face additional obligations, such as local VAT rules. Click here for more information if you are a Dutch partner, and click here if you are a Belgian partner.

Good to know

  • To create an extra seller account, you will go through the registration process again.
  • An exception to this is the request for a second seller account, to enable a split between offers in the Netherlands and Belgium.
