Labels
The following labels can, when relevant, be assigned to items within the theme:
- Reusable: Items where the total environmental impact of production, use, and disposal is more favourable than using the disposable variant...
- Helps reduce waste: An item that demonstrably helps reduce waste compared to the conventional alternative.
- Refill packaging: Items where substantially less packaging material per product unit is required during production compared to new packaging.
Eligible characteristics and quality marks
An item must carry one of the characteristics or quality marks below to be eligible for a label.
Labels for multiple themes
Do you want to apply for labels across multiple themes? You can do this all in 1 form. So you don't need to fill out a separate form for each theme.
Apply for a sustainability feature
Do you sell a product range that carries a characteristic or quality mark? Then you can apply for one or more labels by following these steps:
- Check whether your product range meets the criteria of the desired label (see themes);
- Download "Application_Form_Sustainability_Features" using the button below and specify per EAN which quality mark your item carries. Does the quality mark apply to the entire brand? Then fill out the 'brandlevel' tab with the brand name and the quality mark.
- Upload proof of your sustainability quality marks so we can be sure your product range qualifies.
- Fill in the form and click 'submit'. The form can be found on every theme page. See the menu on the left for this.
- You will receive a response within 2 working days.
