Gift Cards

You can only offer brand gift cards that have been approved by bol.

Eligibility Criteria

You must meet the following criteria to obtain selling rights for gift cards via bol:

You are the brand owner (BOIP brand register) or have written permission from the brand owner/supplier to sell the brand.
You have a valid Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration, which states that the company's activities include the production and/or purchase and sale of gift cards.

For offering gift cards via the platform, several strict conditions apply:

A maximum of 1 product type/theme gift card per brand is allowed, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
No digital gift cards are offered via the platform.
A maximum of 10 different values per gift card may be offered, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with the gift card store.
It is not permitted to use Sponsored Products and Branded Shelves within Advertising via bol in the gift card store.
Delivery is handled by the partner themselves. Delivery via ‘Logistiek via bol’ is not possible for gift cards until further notice.
Additional (shipping) costs may not be passed on in the selling price of a gift card.
The provider is responsible for verification upon delivery (such as an ID check at the door).
With permission, if desired by both parties, we also offer the bol gift card via the online and/or offline channel of the respective provider.
If you add an open-loop gift card via bol, you must comply with the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft), including Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. In this case, only gift cards with a maximum value of 150 euros may be offered via bol.

The items (EANs) you offer are registered with GS1 with the brand owner as the licensee.

Only officially registered brand names (BOIP brand register) are allowed. Items uploaded under an unregistered brand name or an incorrect brand will be taken offline.
The content and images of the items comply with the guidelines of the content manual.
