Baby walkers

To continue ensuring the safety of our product range, an additional check applies within the baby walker category. Only brands pre-approved by bol can be sold within this category. This extra safety measure has been implemented to guarantee the most reliable and safe offer for our customers.

When do selling rights apply?

Naturally, we want customers who buy through bol to continue to do so - and so it is important to offer them a reliable and safe range together. Therefore, additional sales conditions apply to certain product groups and in some cases, there is a brand policy for selective distribution. Find out whether this also applies to your range on this page.

As a result, it is no longer permitted to sell unbranded items in this category. To offer a brand, both the items and the associated content must comply with the brand guidelines. More information about these guidelines can be found on this page.

Is the brand you want to sell included in the list of approved brands below?

You do not need selling rights to sell this brand. This brand has already been checked and can be offered within this category.

Brands

Is the brand you want to sell not listed on this page?

If the brand you want to sell within this product category is not in the list above, you must first apply for selling rights. Only after approval may you offer the brand within this category. Selling rights can only be applied for if the brand meets the following conditions:

  • The EAN is registered in the brand owner's name and with GS1
  • The brand is registered with BOIP (or EUIPO/WIPO).
  • Your registration is valid in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • The brand is registered in the correct product class. Your brand must be registered for a product class lower than 35. Product classes 35 to 45 are only valid for services and not for goods. Please ensure your brand is registered for the correct class, which must be lower than 35.
  • The item must also be registered in this class with the correct goods specified.
  • The brand name and/or brand logo is on the item and/or the original packaging.
  • The branded item complies with the NEN-EN 1273:2005 standard.
  • The branded item has CE marking.
  • The content complies with the guidelines.
  • Your brand must comply with the above points from the moment the item is added to bol.

Enter the brand name in the designated field when providing content. This must be done in text, even if the brand is registered exclusively as a logo. It is not permitted to use a brand name that is not registered with BOIP, as no rights can be derived from it.

How do I apply for selling rights?

To reduce the application time for you as a partner, you only need to provide information for two items per brand. Send the following information to productsafety@bol.com:

  • A list of 2 items you want to offer, including the corresponding EANs. (jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, docx, xls, xlsx, no more than 1 document, with a maximum of 10 MB).
  • Images of the 2 items. Ensure that the item packaging, CE marking, and EANs are clearly visible in the photos. (jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, docx, xls, xlsx, no more than 1 document, with a maximum of 10 MB).
  • A web link to the brand's registration number in BOIP.
  • Test report for the 2 items. This should show that the items comply with the NEN-EN 1273:2005 standard.
  • Declaration of conformity.
